Jimmy is Coming Home

After success around the world, a Jimmy Choo boutique will be opened at the Kuala Lumpur shopping center. The Jimmy Choo brandname was started by a Malaysian entrepreneur with the same name in Britain and it is today seeing international success and recognition as it is sought after by world personalities due to its exclusive design and fine workmanship.
The late Princess Diana had worn them, and so did Halle Berry and Hillary Swank. It was also mentioned several times in Sex and the City. Sara Jessica Parker wore a $615 pair of Jimmy Choos in one episode. Jimmy Choo became very popular with various demographics due to its exposure on Sex and the City.
By next year, it is estimated that 75 Jimmy Choo boutiques will be opened all over the world.
The opening of his first boutique in Malaysia (the second in South East Asia after the one in Singapore opened last June) is like coming home for him. Dato Choo is a Malaysian of Haka Chinese descent who was born in Penang in 1961 into a family of shoemakers. He made his first shoe when he was 11 years old.
