Roberta Armani 10 Rules of Style

I read in Elle, May 2008, Roberta Armani’s tips to dress. I won’t rewrite what’s on the magazine, but I found some basic tips really useful and go for elegance (which hers can be seen promptly.)
Here are some:
- Buy basic classic pieces. Make sure your basics are interchangeable, so you can mix and match or purchase a new item that updates the whole look.
- Use bright colors as highlights only. Dress based on neutral tones, or black or white,then bright colors touch can be added just to spice up.
- Remember the ‘less is more’principal when it comes to jewellery. “A great piece will look better if it can be admired in isolation, rather than combined with lots of others.”
- Eye catching make-up, like red lips or smoky eyes, can be used as accessory for simple outfit, such as little black dress.
- “Plan your outfit”. Start with the main look, and then shoes, the jewellery, and make-up come last.
At last I have to quote the whole the number 10 rules. “10. My top style rule. Keep it simple and sophisticated. If you feel relaxed and easy in your clothing, you will appear comfortable, confident, and attractive.”
I can’t agree more. How I adore this Giorgio Armani’s niece.
