Teresa Helbig, Inspired by Anime and Manga

Japanese anime and manga have always been a thing for fashion designer. Teresa Helbig is one of the inspired ones. She turned the armored Japanese warrior princesses vision of Aya Takano(, the manga artist) into clothings for her fall collection and showed them in Paris Fashion Week last February. The clothes gave the image of innocence and strength, the essence of Japanese anime and manga heroines.

Teresa Helbig began her career as a window dresser and started to design her first collection something like 10 years ago. She loves to combinine the finest materials like silks, tulle, crochet and crystal beads, turn them into pieces those are unique and represent her creativity and sophistication.
