Indigo Batik

Eco friendly color is not always green. It can be indigo! And while batik is really on vogue, indigo dyed batik fabric is a good news for double-agents of fashionista and earth lover.
Indigo colored batik is made in three stage process of waxing dyeing and de-waxing. The artisans mixes extract of indigofera leaves with water to get deep blue color, which unlike regular coloring method, is eco friendly. The results are best on natural fabrics like cotton and silk that absorbs the color completely.
