Topshop is never wrong about whom they’re collaborating with. They’re also right about these 2 Korean born designers, Steve J and Yoni P. Out of the collaborating-with-Topshop topic, these 2 designers also showed their collection in London Fashion Week, Spring 2009 about 2 weeks. The show was a half catwalk presentation and a half performance, with models and ballerinas presenting their collection.

The collection included much folds and drapes like origami. This gave an effect for the simple shape of the dresses. The colour palette was also simple; orange, pink and blue with metallic detailing.

So where do their inspirations come from? “Our collection has been inspired by our surrounding environment, particularly constructive architecture and the linear, almost endless repeats of design details in both buildings and supporting structures.”
