What does pop on you mind when you hear these 2 words? Me, Nicole Richie. Well, it’s actually a name of jeans brand. Michael Glasser, who also created Seven for All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity. He decided to create Rich & Skinny Jeans while he was on hiatus with those 2 everyone’s favorite brands. The first collection was launched in 2006, when colorful skinny jeans were so on, with 13 different skinny styles in 15 rich colors.
About the catchy name?
It’s a question they’re accustomed to answering. After countless hours of brainstorming on the perfect name, a frustrated Joie decided to “get real.” She thought, “How does someone want to feel when they pull on their favorite pair of jeans?” To her, the answer was quite simple, “rich and skinny.” As soon as she said it out loud, she knew she had found the perfect name. “We want to make people feel good.
